Dance has been life itself to her rather than just a passion in life. Gifted with incredible talent, immense command over graceful dancing and an intellectually inquisitive heart of art, she has been trotting the aesthetic path of success working constantly for conservation and promotion of the hoary culture of Indian classical art.

To pass on the treasure of Indian classicism to young aspirants, she has established the abode of cultural education named NRITYAGIRI PERFORMING ARTS AND RESEARCH CENTRE in the princely city of Mysore. Nrityagiri indeed embraces the peak of achievement in offering soul filling visual delight and virtual satisfaction to connoisseurs. Many young aspirants of Dance have found solace in this institute of learning under the able tutelage of Madam Kripa. Students of Nrityagiri have won laurels from everywhere for their devoted learning and coveted performances. Many have secured proficiency in Bharatanatyam with enviable distinctions and presented proud Rangapraveshams.

Our guruji established Nrityagiri Performing Arts and Research Centre, Mysuru over a decade ago. Since its inception she has shared her knowledge in performing arts with a number of students, many of whom have started their own institutions. She has served as the first woman Secretary and Head of the Department of Dance for eight consecutive years in Ganabharathi (a prestigious institution of classical arts in Mysuru). She works as the Akhila Bharatha Nritya Vidha Pramukh of Samskara Bharathi to spread the glory of Indian culture and to empower the feel of patriotism far and wide.
